DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
No valid licence no hire. Age between 21-70 years. Minimum two years driving on a clean licence (minor endorsements acceptable). Age 21-23 no accidents or convictions
GENERAL
Secondary I.D showing hirers name and home address with Photograph required. Payment before departure in full on all vehicles. Cheques only accepted with bankers card.
HIRE PERIOD
24 Hours period applies to 0830 to 0830 only. A charge of £10.00 for the first hour will be made for any inconvenience caused by late returns. Thereafter the hirer will be charged the full daily rate. 3 Days rate applies to any 3 consecutive days.
INSURANCE
Only hirers completing hire forms are insured to drive. Fully comprehensive cover is included in the hire rates with a deductible excess of £350. Collision damage waiver available at an extra cost of £10 (inc. VAT) per day reduces insurance excess from £350 to £75. The hirer is responsible for all overhead, tyre and windscreen damage. Damage to the interior upholstery is not covered by the insurance.
CONTINENTAL USE
A 33% surcharge is added to the current rates for continental hires and Southern Ireland. We recommend that continental breakdown cover is taken out, which we can provide at an extra cost.
FUEL
All vehicles run full to full. Please check that the vehicle is full before leaving the premises as mistakes cannot be rectified at a later date. Fuel type is labelled on key rings and on the filler cap. A refuelling charge of £1.25 inc. VAT per litre will be made on vehicles not returned full. The hirer is required to return the vehicle in the same clean state as it was originally hired out or there will be a cleaning charge. No pets please.
OPERATORS LICENCE
You will need to provide a operators licence if you are hiring a G.V.W. over 3.5 tonnes for commercial use.
CANCELLATION
24 Hours notice is required before a cancellation, otherwise a full days hire will be charged.
RESTRICTIONS
For vehicle groups VA, VB, VC, CC, CC+, CD and VI all drivers need to be aged 25 and over.
UPGRADES
Due to circumstances beyond our control it may be necessary to provide an alternative vehicle, of equivalent size and from the same group as the one booked, or provide an upgraded or larger vehicle at no additional cost
